Volleyball Recap: Fulton Takes a Loss

Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Royals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-8, 25-18.

Eagleton College & Career Academy found their leader in sophomore Kaylee Loud, who had 12 digs and three aces. Loud is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Fulton's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.

Looking ahead, Fulton will head out to challenge Austin-East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, they will face off against Maryville Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
