Softball Recap: Pickens County Takes a Loss

Pickens County and South Lamar squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Pickens County had to settle for second. They came up short against the Stallions, falling 11-1. The Tornadoes just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Pickens County's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for South Lamar, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-16 record.

Pickens County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Lamar, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-1 victory against Holy Spirit Catholic on the 29th.
