Basketball Game Preview: Carver Yellowjackets vs. Bethany Community Wolves

The Carver Yellowjackets will face off against the Bethany Community Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Bethany Community is hoping to do what Phoenix Academy couldn't on Thursday: put an end to Carver's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Carver was the clear victor by a 51-25 margin over Phoenix Academy.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bethany Community). They put the hurt on Clover Garden School with a sharp 64-39 victory on Wednesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Wolves as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Carver pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 20.8 points. As for Bethany Community, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Carver was able to grind out a solid victory over Bethany Community in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 38-31. Will Carver repeat their success, or does Bethany Community have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
