Basketball Recap: Kole Hermann Key Part of a Team Effort in Kougars Win

There's no place like home for Kadoka, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 60-47 win over the Jones County Coyotes on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-50 last Thursday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kadoka to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kole Hermann, who went 6 for 9 en route to 15 points and three steals. Gus Stout was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Kadoka is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Jones County, they dropped their record down to 5-8 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Kadoka will face off against Timber Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jones County has already played their next contest (against Lyman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
