Softball Recap: Tates Creek Comes Up Short

Tates Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Webster County Trojans, falling 16-3.

Tates Creek saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylie Howell, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Another was Alexis Bazzell, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Tates Creek's record is now 3-11. As for Webster County, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-8 record.

Looking ahead, Tates Creek will be playing in front of their home fans against Bourbon County at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Webster County, they will square off against Lincoln County at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Trojans are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
