Baseball Recap: Skyridge Falls Short Against Ranked Pleasant Grove

Skyridge faced Pleasant Grove in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Falcons lost 13-3 to the Vikings. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost four in a row.

Skyridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andres Pearson, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Skyridge's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Pleasant Grove, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Looking ahead, Skyridge will be playing at home against Lone Peak at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pleasant Grove, they will head out to square off against Westlake at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
