Baseball Recap: Altamont Picks Up Ninth Straight Win at Home

Altamont put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Casey-Westfield Warriors by a score of 5-2. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Zaine Miller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits.

At the plate, Altamont saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Elam, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That stolen base was Elam's first of the season.
