Recap: Berea-Midpark Titans vs. Steele Comets
The Berea-Midpark Titans put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Steele as Berea-Midpark made off with a 79-59 win. Considering Berea-Midpark has won three contests by more than 19 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Devyn Zahursky continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 20 rebounds. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Tyson Clay, who scored 11 points.
Berea-Midpark pushed their record up to 5-0 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.1 points per game. As for Steele, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
Berea-Midpark will head out on the road to face off against Strongsville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Steele will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Keystone at 7:00 p.m. on December 29th.
