Softball Recap: Basha Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Basha entered their tilt with Chandler on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 18-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Kylee Duffy looked comfortable as she tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 16 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Morgan Bragg was a standout: she fired off two home runs and six RBI while going 2-for-3. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in March of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Vaeh Luna, who fired off two home runs, three RBI, and one double while going 3-for-4.

Basha kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 22 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in five consecutive games.

Basha's record is now 19-5-2. As for Chandler, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Basha will venture away from home to square off against Higley at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Chandler, they will head out to take on Perry at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pumas have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
