Manchester took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against J.R. Tucker, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Lancers had just enough and edged out the Tigers 3-2 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Lancers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The win got Manchester back to even at 4-4. As for J.R. Tucker, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Manchester will face off against Clover Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for J.R. Tucker, they will host Varina at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
