Football Recap: Knight Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It was a Battle of the Birds when Knight challenged Palmdale on Friday. The Hawks lost 28-8 to the Falcons. The loss continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost five in a row.

Palmdale got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Elleyon Clark out in front who picked up 155 receiving yards and two scores, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Clark's longest reception was for an incredible 76 yards. Another signal caller making a difference was Joshua Suarez, who threw for 261 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes.

Knight's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Palmdale, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Knight is set to challenge their familiar foe Quartz Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Palmdale will square off against rival Antelope Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Clark and Maddox Caldwell.
