Liberty Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They breezed by the Winchester Community Golden Falcons to the tune of 71-40. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Falcons, too.

When it comes to explaining why Winchester Community lost, don't look at Lucas Tarter. Despite the final result, he posted six points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Carter Fraze, who had nine points and five boards.

Liberty Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points per game. As for Winchester Community, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.
