Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Barry Western's Eighth in Last Ten Outings

Barry Western picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes.

Paisley Patterson paced Barry Western's offense, picking up nine kills. Patterson got some help from Alysa Bareis and her six assists. Emma Dixon controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Barry Western has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Abingdon/Avon, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Barry Western didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Monmouth-Roseville on the 20th. As for Abingdon/Avon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Henry-Senachwine on the 20th.
