JAG had lost three straight at home, but on Monday they dropped down to 6-7 to make it four. They came up short against the Carver Montgomery Wolverines, falling 13-3. Surprisingly, this marked the sixth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

As for Carver Montgomery, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 9-9. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won eight matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

For Carver Montgomery's part, the team relied heavily on Christopher Thomas-Grace, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those two hits gave Thomas-Grace a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kamari Gordon, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

While JAG had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
