Football Game Preview: Naperville North Huskies vs. Sandburg Eagles + How To Watch

The Naperville North Huskies will challenge the Sandburg Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Naperville North is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest defeat since September 6, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Lockport by a score of 20-17. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Naperville North had strong showings from William Eloe, who rushed for 102 yards and one touchdown, and Jack Zitko, who picked up 89 receiving yards and one score. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 51 yards.

Meanwhile, Sandburg strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on Homewood-Flossmoor with a sharp 31-7 win. That 24 point margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

Sandburg's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Naperville North, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Naperville North was able to grind out a solid win over Sandburg in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 44-34. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
