New Hope barely beat Lee the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went the New Hope Indians' way against the Lee Generals on Monday as the New Hope Indians made off with a 12-2 win. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Generals recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Grant Maples was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Andrew Dudley, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

New Hope always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .654. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in three consecutive contests.

New Hope now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Lee, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Hope will head out to face off against North Jackson at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lee, they are taking a road trip to square off against Mae Jemison at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
