Erie proved they can win big  on Thursday (they won by eight) and  on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Arizona College Prep Knights, sneaking past  8-7. The Tigers'  victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet  this season.
 Austin Sieckmann tossed a big game,   striking out six batters over  six innings while giving up  four earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Austin Muir, who  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.  Varek Van Aelstyne was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Erie  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least 12  hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Erie's record now sits at 3-0. As for Arizona College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.
 Erie didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  an  8-5  loss against Millennium on the 21st. As for Arizona College Prep, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  match,  a  13-2  win against Bear Creek on the 21st.
