Baseball Recap: Whitesburg Christian Academy's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Whitesburg Christian Academy finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They fell 3-0 to the Red Bay Tigers. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Whitesburg Christian Academy's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-9. As for Red Bay, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitesburg Christian Academy will square off against Randolph School at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Red Bay, they will take on Sulligent at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sulligent has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.36 runs per game on average), something Red Bay will no doubt try to take advantage of.
