It was fun while it lasted, but Ponderosa's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Thursday. They and the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Mustangs' first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Kyla Tucker, who's now up to three this season.

Ponderosa's draw makes their record 3-0-1 this season. Meanwhile, Cheyenne Mountain's record is now 0-2-1.

Ponderosa won't get a chance for a more definitive result for a while: they'll take on Douglas County at 3:00 p.m. on March 25th. Ponderosa is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season. As for Cheyenne Mountain, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Pueblo West on the 18th.
