Volleyball Recap: Fairborn Takes a Loss

Fairborn managed to slip by Xenia the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Skyhawks came up short against the Buccaneers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Skyhawks' loss continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Fairborn took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-13, 25-23.

Fairborn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Xenia, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairborn will venture away from home to challenge Stebbins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Xenia, they will square off against Piqua at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
