Malakoff picks up 13th straight win at home

Recap: Malakoff Tigers vs. Winnsboro Raiders

The Malakoff Tigers extended their postseason success on Friday against the Winnsboro Raiders. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Raiders 58-20 at home. The win was just business as usual for Malakoff, who after 14 games remain undefeated this season.

Malakoff found their leader in underclassman Jerrion Hall, who rushed for 179 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. Hall hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for four straight games. Mike Jones was another key contributor, rushing for 78 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.

Malakoff has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 14-0 record. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43.54 points. As for Winnsboro, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-1.

Malakoff will face off against Brock at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Brock: 11.7, Malakoff: 8.6) so any points scored will be well earned. Winnsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
