Basketball Recap: McKinney North Takes a Loss

McKinney North lost against Guyer back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs lost 54-31 to the Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since December 27, 2024.

Despite the loss, McKinney North saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kamille Campbell almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. Campbell is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least nine every time she's taken the court this season.

McKinney North's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Guyer, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

McKinney North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 36-35 loss against South Grand Prairie on the 14th. As for Guyer, they have also already played their next game, a 39-33 victory against Prosper on the 14th.
