Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Wolves vs. Etna Lions

The Trinity Wolves will venture away from home to take on the Etna Lions at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Trinity has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 18.

On Wednesday, Trinity came up short against Weed and fell 59-46. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 811th, while the Cougars are ranked 365th).

Etna played against Modoc on Wednesday and lost via forfeit.

Trinity now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Etna, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-15.

Everything went Trinity's way against Etna in their previous meeting back in January, as Trinity made off with a 61-40 victory. In that match, Trinity amassed a halftime lead of 35-12, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
