Softball Recap: Mt. Gilead Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Mt. Gilead was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They came up short against the Loudonville Redbirds, falling 11-1. The Indians were not able to make up for their loss to the Redbirds from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.

Mt. Gilead dropped their record down to 4-14-1 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Loudonville, they moved to 5-14 with that victory, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

While Mt. Gilead had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
