Kit Carson's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brennan Framel, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds.
Evangel Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brock Jones out in front who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Bo Galliart, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
