Softball Recap: Cocoa Takes a Loss

Cocoa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 15-0 to the Merritt Island Mustangs. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Cocoa's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Merritt Island, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

Cocoa will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bayside at 6:00 p.m. on April 7. As for Merritt Island, they will square off against Fort Myers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
