Basketball Recap: STEM School Highlands Ranch Comes Up Short

STEM School Highlands Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 19-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ascent Classical Academy Guardians. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Guardians earlier this season, when they won 18-17.

STEM School Highlands Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Ascent Classical Academy, they moved to 1-5 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

STEM School Highlands Ranch will challenge Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ascent Classical Academy, they will head out to take on Loveland Classical at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
