Carle Place had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Friends Academy Quakers by a score of 10-5. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 15-4 victory on Monday.

The team relied heavily on Colin Driscoll, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Michael Tucholski was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one run.

Carle Place pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Friends Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Carle Place will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Quakers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
