Jackson Prep's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Pillow Academy Mustangs by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won five in a row.

Jackson Prep had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-17.

Carolina Walker paced Jackson Prep's offense, picking up 15 kills. Walker got some help from Mercy Robbins and her 33 assists. Robbins also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Cora Craddock, racking up two apiece.

Jackson Prep's win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Jackson Prep will host Pisgah at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pillow Academy, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Heritage Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
