Fontainebleau falls despite strong effort from Isabelle Chevalier

The Fontainebleau Bulldogs's game on Tuesday was all tied up 24-24 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 44-43 to Slidell. Fontainebleau has struggled against Slidell recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

When it comes to explaining why Fontainebleau lost, one person who can't be blamed is Isabelle Chevalier. Despite the final result, she scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Carmen Pelto was another key contributor, scoring five points along with 13 rebounds.

Fontainebleau's defeat dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Slidell, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which somehow isn't as good as their 19-6 record this season.

Fontainebleau didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-34 victory vs. Mt. Carmel on the 7th. Slidell has also already played their next contest, a 56-38 loss against Northshore on the 9th.
