Blair-Taylor had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Eleva-Strum Cardinals. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cardinals, too.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Blair-Taylor got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 17-25, 25-19, 25-27, 15-13.

Chloe Medenblik paced Blair-Taylor's offense, picking up 27 kills. Medenblik got some help from Elissa Smetana and her 18 assists.

Blair-Taylor's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Eleva-Strum, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-3.

Coincidentally, Blair-Taylor and Eleva-Strum will both be playing Osseo-Fairchild the next time they take the court. The Cardinals will head out to face the Thunder at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
