It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but St. Charles ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They skirted past the Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons 3-2. The Fighting Saints haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

St. Charles' victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Wabasha-Kellogg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Charles will welcome Fillmore Central/Lanesboro at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wabasha-Kellogg, they will take on Lewiston-Altura at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
