Soccer Recap: Saranac Falls to Peru in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Saranac had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Peru Nighthawks by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Saranac couldn't quite close it out.

Peru's victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Looking ahead, Peru is taking a road trip to challenge Stillwater at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Saranac will be paying especially close attention to the Nighthawks' contest: after the Nighthawks face off against Plattsburgh, they'll take on Saranac again at 6:30 p.m. on October 3.
