Volleyball Recap: Eastlake Triumphs + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bellevue, Eastlake was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Bothell Cougars by a score of 3-1. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 22-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Eastlake can attribute much of their success to Kyra Kanai, who had 17 assists and nine digs. Those 17 assists gave Kanai a new career-high.

Eastlake was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive games.

Eastlake picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-7-1.

Eastlake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Bothell/Inglemoor on the 23rd. As for Bothell, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Issaquah at 7:00 p.m. on October 16.
