The Lancaster Christian Academy Knights will square off against the Franklin Road Christian Minutemen at 7:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Lancaster Christian Academy knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matchups -- so hopefully Franklin Road Christian likes a good challenge.
On Thursday, Lancaster Christian Academy needed a bit of extra time to put away Franklin Christian Academy. They secured  a  68-63 W over the Falcons. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive  victory against them.

 It was another big night for  Josh Whitt, who  dropped  a double-double on 31  points and 12  rebounds. The  game was  his 14th in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Anderson Breiner, who  went 5 for 11  to rack up 19 points.
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Franklin Road Christian). They enjoyed a cozy  95-76 win over Zion Christian Academy on Thursday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Minutemen.
Franklin Road Christian found their leader in sophomore  Pierre DeShields, who  dropped  a double-double on 28  points and 18  boards. The dominant performance gave  DeShields a new career-high in  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Connor Branch, who  dropped  a double-double on 20 points and 11  assists.
 Franklin Road Christian was working as a unit and  finished the game with 21  assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  assist total in three consecutive  contests.
 Lancaster Christian Academy's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 23-3. As for Franklin Road Christian, their record is now 21-12.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest:  Lancaster Christian Academy has been smashing the glass this season,  having  averaged 24.1  boards per game. However, it's not like Franklin Road Christian struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 32.7  rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
 Lancaster Christian Academy came up short against Franklin Road Christian in their previous meeting  last Tuesday, falling  69-62. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  Franklin Road Christian's  Ben Walker, who  dropped  a double-double on 24  points and 11  boards.
