Ridge Spring-Monetta dropped down to 13-9 on Friday, ending the team's six-game streak of wins. They had to suffer through a 60-25 loss at the hands of Hunter-Kinard-Tyler. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Hunter-Kinard-Tyler this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-32 back in January.

As for Hunter-Kinard-Tyler, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Hunter-Kinard-Tyler's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Haylei Sapp, who went 7-for-12 en route to 17 points and six steals. The dominant performance also gave Sapp a new career-high in blocks (two). Jametria Sampson was another key player, shooting 75% from the field to rack up 16 points and five steals.

Meanwhile, Hunter-Kinard-Tyler is set to square off against their familiar foe Blackville-Hilda at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Kailen Grant and Breyanna Williams.
