Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Skyline). They secured a 65-60 W over the Seagoville Dragons on Friday.

Seagoville lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Twone Long, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Willie Frazier was another key player, putting up 12 points and six rebounds.

Skyline's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Seagoville, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Skyline didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-52 victory against Martin on the 9th. As for Seagoville, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Molina at 8:00 p.m. on the 16th.
