Basketball Recap: Providence Classical Takes a Loss

Providence Classical was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Cypress Christian Warriors, falling 54-31. The Paladins were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in January of 2022.

Providence Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Cypress Christian, they moved to 9-10 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Providence Classical will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Faith West Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th. As for Cypress Christian, they will head out to square off against Lutheran South Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
