Basketball Preview: Manning Monarchs vs. Loris Lions

Last Friday, Manning was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 69-68 to the Wildcats. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (56), Manning still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Loris had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.6 points), and they went ahead and made it 11 on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 70-56 victory over Georgetown.
Manning's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Loris, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.
