Soccer Game Preview: Osborne vs. Douglas County

The Osborne Cardinals are taking a road trip to challenge the Douglas County Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Douglas County took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Osborne, who comes in off a win.

Osborne headed into their last contest having not scored more than one goal for six straight, but McEachern let them put that streak behind them. The Cardinals put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 6-1 victory two weeks ago. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 3-0.

Brayden Adams and Aminata Traore scored all six of Osborne's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Meanwhile, Douglas County was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to Sprayberry.

Douglas County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Osborne, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-10.
