Volleyball Recap: Warren Township Extends Winning Streak to Three

Warren Township entered their tilt with Antioch on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Sequoits by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Devils also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Warren Township never let Antioch on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-23.

Miya Tanni paced Warren Township's offense, picking up seven kills. Tanni got some help from Allie Penesis and her 16 assists. Penesis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Warren Township's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Antioch, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warren Township will square off against Zion-Benton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Antioch, they will challenge Marian Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
