Soccer Game Preview: Windsor Forest vs. Islands

The Windsor Forest Knights will venture away from home to take on the Islands Sharks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Windsor Forest will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal last Thursday, then bounced right back against Liberty County on Thursday. The Knights blew past the Panthers 5-1. The victory continues a trend for Windsor Forest in their matchups with Liberty County: they've now won seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Islands beat Jenkins 3-1 on Thursday. Given Islands' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 16th, while Jenkins are ranked 138th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Windsor Forest's record is now 4-5. As for Islands, their record now sits at 13-0.

Windsor Forest suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Islands in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
