Soccer Recap: Jordan vs. Park City
Jordan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 6-1 to the Park City Miners. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Milton Acosta was handed one for Jordan, while Park City got theirs courtesy of Alemayehu Hopkins.
Jordan's goal came courtesy of Javier Moreno, which was the first he's scored this season.
Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Park City, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan will take on Layton Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Layton Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Jordan surely won't give up without a fight. As for Park City, they will square off against Hillcrest at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
