Softball Recap: El Dorado Springs Has No Trouble Against Lamar

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fair Grove, El Dorado Springs was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Lamar Tigers with a sharp 13-0 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won three matchups by more than 12 runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lacyn Perrodin was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Perrodin was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, El Dorado Springs got a massive performance out of Brooke Coale, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Coale is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least two every time she's taken the field this season. Tayah Garringer was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.

El Dorado Springs hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lamar struck out seven times.

El Dorado Springs' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lamar, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-3.
