Soccer Recap: Research Triangle Takes a Loss

Research Triangle lost against Falls Lake on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raptors fell 2-0 to the Firebirds. While losing is never fun, Research Triangle can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 394th, while Falls Lake are ranked 189th).

Research Triangle is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13-1. As for Falls Lake, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

Research Triangle didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-0 defeat against Wake Prep Academy on the 5th. As for Falls Lake, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against East Wake Academy on the 5th.
