Softball Recap: Valley Forge Comes Up Short

Valley Forge lost against Rocky River back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Patriots lost 14-4 to the Pirates. The loss leaves the Patriots still looking for their first win of the season.

Valley Forge's record now sits at 0-8. As for Rocky River, they moved to 5-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley Forge will take on Normandy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rocky River, they will face off against Bay at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rockets have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season.
