Marengo is 8-2 against Johnsburg since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Marengo Indians just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Johnsburg Skyhawks at 6:00 p.m. Marengo has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

On Friday, Marengo made easy work of Richmond-Burton and carried off a 49-29 victory. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 228th, while the Rockets are ranked 547th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Johnsburg didn't have too much trouble with Woodstock on Friday as they won 45-26. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Skyhawks.

Johnsburg's record is now 18-10. As for Marengo, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-12 record this season.

Marengo strolled past Johnsburg in their previous meeting on Saturday by a score of 42-26. The rematch might be a little tougher for Marengo since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
