Softball Recap: Concord Christian Takes a Loss

Concord Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-7 to the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-1 back in March.

Elizabeth Reed made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Concord Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Coming up, Concord Christian will challenge Sweetwater at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they will venture away from home to square off against Bearden at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
