Recap: Edgemont Moguls vs. New Underwood Tigers
The Edgemont Moguls kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a rough 66-11 loss at the hands of New Underwood. Edgemont was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-6.
John Heisler and Sebastian Morse certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Heisler scored 5 points, while Morse scored 0 points along with 3 steals.
New Underwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cash Albers, who scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds. Sam Enos was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 4 steals.
Edgemont's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for New Underwood, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Edgemont will be playing in front of their home fans against Wall at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for New Underwood, they will head out on the road to face off against Dupree at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
