Volleyball Recap: Pioneer's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Pioneer's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Sacramento Dragons by a score of 3-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Patriots as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Pioneer walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 17-25, 25-15.

Pioneer's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Sacramento, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Pioneer has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Woodland on the 14th. As for Sacramento, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Vanden on the 14th.
